1969 – Began playing drums at the age of 13. Formed a band with friends Tom Browning, Kenny Greenberg, Jeff Cipperman and played all through high school.

1975-1976 – played in various bands, played drums on the tune “Open Heart Surgery “ on the first WLRS radio station album in Louisville, KY. Also had a band with Tom Browning, Ted Bell on sax and flute and Rip Reinhardt on bass called "Ed Swordfish". There might be some recordings of original material that I can dig up at some point.

1977 – Did a stint with the “Juggernaut Jug Band “ playing top 40 and disco music mixed with a nightly jug band show.

1977 – Played rock/jazz/fusion with a band called “Texture” featuring Robin Miller.

1978 – 1979  - Played with a local singer named Larry Conley, first with Kenny Greenberg and Jeff Cipperman and then with many different musicians over a 3 year period, working the hotel circuit in the Louisville area.

1979-1980 – Joined the band “Easter Island” with Mark Miceli and Park Crane working on and performing original music for about 1-1/2 years.

1980-1981 – While working with “Easter Island” also performed in a blues/rock band called “Rococo Rhythm Band” with Tom Browning and Will Perryman.

1981-1984 – Helped form the band “As Is” with Mark Miceli, Tom Browning, Bob Hart and myself, playing the local bar scene for about 3 years. “As Is” was featured on 2 additional WLRS albums with the tunes “Messenger” and “Down To The Nitty”.

1984 - Played drums on Tom Browning’s album “Time To Buy”.

1985-1986 – Played drums for the band “Apex” doing a local and out of town circuit, mostly working 5 to 6 nights a week for about 1-1/2 years.

1986 -1990 – Once again playing with Tom Browning in the band “The Hoods”, playing with different musicians including Chic McHenry and Riley White for about 2 years. With the addition of Patti Hagewood and then Bob Hart added as bass player, the band later changed it’s name to “Patti and The Hoods.

1992-1994 -  “Patti and The Hoods“ resurface for another 2 years of playing the Louisville bar scene, performing mostly 70’s style rock along with original music composed by Tom, Bob and Patti.

1994 -1996 – Played drums on solo album projects by Tom Browning and Bob Hart including Tom Browning’s “Into The Liquid Sky” and Bob Hart’s “Harts’ Basement” and “Back From The Wilderness”.

1997 – Played for the band “Sit N’Spin” featuring Shelby McDowell.

1997 -2001 – “Easter Island” reforms with Mark Miceli, Richard Streander, and myself. “Easter Island” records a CD of original material titled “MotherSun”.

2001-2003 – During this time I concentrated on recording a CD titled “Quote-UnQuote” which includes original compositions by myself and friends whom I’ve played with over the years..

2004 – Helped form the band “BoomChik” with Patti Hagewood, Bob Hart, Greg Land and Shelby McDowell. Currently playing clubs in the Louisville area.
